The Surette Building Co., Inc. is a general contracting firm that has been servicing the construction needs of the North Shore for over sixty years. The firm was founded when Robert Surette joined with his father's carpentry business in 1950. The family business was joined by Robert Jr. in 1973 and Peter in 1982.
Over the past decades, Surette Building's areas of expertise have expanded from custom-built single family homes to include residential and commercial renovations. Robert Surette, Jr. is president of the corporation and is a graduate of Wentworth Institute, 1971, with an associate degree in Architectural Engineering Technology and undergraduate studies at the Boston Architectural Center, 1973-74.
Surette Building Company has developed a solid reputation for a neat, quality project delivered on time and on budget. Robert Jr. is a hands-on manager involved daily with job site operations and Robert Sr. is still involved with the firm on a consulting basis.
